At $50+/person and an average of 5-8 people per event, it won't take us long to earn enough to give a $500 scholarship for each worthy student we sponsor. Our goal is to sponsor several students this year. Foundation-Part 1The Rotary Foundation - Part 1Past District Governor Rich Kaye was our guest speaker on April 12th. His presentation was Part One of Two dealing with the Rotary Foundation.
The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary, the Foundation taps into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into our priorities, such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.
When you give to The Rotary Foundation, you support Rotary's work across the world and help ensure our future. You can choose where to direct your donation and how you wish to give. Recognition is offered at many giving levels.
There are a number of ways to designate how you donation is used...the best being t allow the Foundation to choose how best to place your donation funds.
Come Tuesday and learn more about how our small individual donations multiply into making some SERIOUS changes in the health and happiness of the world family that Rotary supports.
