The Rotary Club of Cedar Park-Leander has enjoyed being a part of DG Beverly Luedke’s Rotary District 5870 grant which includes the construction, installation, and ongoing management of a Little Free Library.
Several members of the Cedar Park-Leander Club spent parts of several days assembling, painting, and installing the library in the front yard of one of our club members.  The library is stocked with books, and we already have received book donations to keep the library stocked.  The little free library contains a selection of children’s books and adult fiction and non-fiction titles.  People may take a book to read and share a book with others.  This project fits well with our club’s ongoing efforts to support literacy.  Our library is registered with the Little Free Library organization (www.littlefreelibrary.org) and soon this library will be included on the organization’s map of little free library locations.  Club members participating in this project were:  Dee Thomas, Moriah Eberhart, Jerry Chapman, Argie Martinez, Linda Starnes, Earl Follis, and Joe Dahlstrom.  For those of you who may wish to visit our little free library, it is located at 1231 Red Ranch Circle, Cedar Park, TX.
