Jerry Chapman
The Rotary Foundation

Jerry joined the Rotary Club of North Shore Lake Travis (Lago Vista) in 2005.  He served as the club’s Vice President, Membership and Foundation chairs, and President.  He organized their bicycle and 5K fund-raisers to support local projects.  When NSLT merged with Austin Centennial, he joined the Cedar Park Club.

Jerry joined the Rotary Club Cedar Park-Leander as a transfer Rotarian in 2013.  His knowledge of, and passion for, Rotary was immediately felt by all members.  He is always willing to share his knowledge and to join in all the Club activities.  The Club has been able to be involved in many local projects such as highway clean-ups, a Talent Show for fund-raising for three years, a fund-raising art show, a Quarter-a-Mile activity, among just a few.  The club always looks to Jerry for guidance and input.  He served as District Governor.  He has served in numerous Club capacities, committee chairs, Foundation Chair, and is currently serving as Executive Director,  The Club went through a period of possibly having to disband.  Jerry’s guidance, knowledge and encouragement during this time, and all of his contributions are priceless and kept the Club alive and well.  Jerry was instrumental in the Club achieving The 100% TRF Banner where every member of our Club is a Paul Harris Fellow.  Jerry’s diligence resulted in our Club coming in at Third Place in Category 2 for the Rotary District 5870 Limited Time Offer “Giving” campaign.

At the District level, Jerry has served as the ROF Chair, District Secretary, Assistant Governor, District Governor, Annual Fund Sub-committee Chair. and District Rotary Foundation Chair. He is the current Council of Legislation representative from D5870.
